About Zub Zub

Empowering communities to build habits that sustain our shared future

Who we are

Zub Zub India is a registered charitable trust founded in 2020, working to strengthen responsible community behavior and advance sustainability across Northeast India. Our work is grounded in a simple but often overlooked reality: infrastructure and one-time drives cannot create lasting change unless people adopt and sustain responsible habits in their daily lives. Clean, healthy, and resilient communities emerge when citizens, institutions, and systems move together.

We, therefore, focus on community engagement, behavior change, and practical sustainability initiatives that communities can own and maintain over time.

To educate, engage, and support communities from all walks of life to adopt sustainable practices that improve public health, environmental protection, and overall quality of life.

Our vision

The reality we address

Many initiatives fail because they focus only on one-time drives and physical infrastructure. At Zub Zub India, we believe that clean, healthy, and resilient communities only emerge when infrastructure is paired with sustained responsible habits. Founded in 2020, we are a registered charitable trust dedicated to making sure that positive change in Northeast India never disappears.

Our Shared Responsibility Model

We bridge the gap between intent and impact by uniting three essential forces:

  • Communities: Empowering citizens to own and maintain responsible daily practices.

  • Government: Partnering with systems that provide the necessary infrastructure and scale.

  • The Trust: Acting as the enabler through awareness, training, and coordination.

Our Core Objectives

Our work is built on the values of Integrity, Humility, and Discipline. We pursue a holistic vision for the region through these focused aims:

Sustainability & Heritage

  • Regional Leadership: Re-establishing Northeast India as a global home for sustainability and environmental stewardship.

  • Cultural Preservation: Documenting and preserving traditional Naga architecture and indigenous sustainable design.

  • Conservation: Implementing land restoration, afforestation, and water conservation projects.

Infrastructure & Innovation

  • Waste Management: Establishing recycling facilities, segregation centers, and material recovery units.

  • Certification: Auditing and certifying institutions for environmentally sound waste management practices.

  • Research: Conducting data-driven studies to share best practices for regional development.

Empowerment & Education

  • Vocational Training: Offering life-skills training in caregiving, masonry, and sustainable housekeeping to build resilient livelihoods.

  • Academic Support: Providing scholarships for deserving students and structured internships for future leaders.

  • Community Awareness: Collaborating with schools and workplaces to promote healthy, sustainable lifestyles.

Social Welfare & Dignity

  • Worker Wellness: Ensuring health, insurance, and dignity for sanitation and construction workers.

  • Elderly Care: Operating full-time assisted-living homes to ensure the well-being of our seniors.

  • Financial Inclusion: Providing micro-support and low-cost financial assistance to marginalized communities for sustainable activities.
